Inspiration From The Farmers Market

I purchased some great summer produce at the San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmers Market (CUESA) on Saturday that I needed to find something to do with it. Some of the unique items I brought home to play with was: Micro Thai Basil Blossoms, Baby Tokyo Turnips and Spigarello Blossoms.

I also found some super sweet Brentwood corn that I used to make a silky corn soup with prawn salsa.

For another dish I made a hamachi crudo that I garnished with the baby Tokyo turnips and micro thai basil.
