We have two categories of wine here: VQA (100% Ontario or 100% B.C.); and “Cellared in Canada” (currently 60% foreign, with the rest being less expensive Canadian wine and water).

Most Canadians don’t know. Those who have been fooled include local food activists and sommeliers from lesser sommelier programs.
